No. Purchases never count towards the leaderboard, and you can't buy coins for real money. What decides the Top 5 is purely how you play.
The game is free. Optional purchases are cosmetics, comfort and crystals — never an advantage in the ranking.
Each season runs for a month with a fresh leaderboard, everyone starts at zero. Your place comes from 22 season chains with up to six tiers each — playtime, mining, farming, votes and more. The Top 5 win prizes once the season conditions are met.
Your island, ranks, crystals, premium biomes and your prestige level stay permanently. The leaderboard, season chains, Battle Pass, challenges, minions and purchased biomes reset — so every season is a fair new chance.
The pass has 100 tiers per season. You unlock the premium track exclusively with coins earned in-game, never with real money — and free and premium give exactly the same number of leaderboard points.
Only the free vote crate counts for the season score; purchased crates never do. Voting is free every day and your daily streak makes the rewards bigger.
You start on a single block in the void. As you mine it, the next grows back — across 148 phases through the Overworld, Nether and End.
