General Terms and Conditions — last updated: July 2026.
§ 1 Scope & Provider
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for digital content and digital services concluded via the MythBlock website (mythblock.me) — in particular ✦ Crystals, permanent ranks, monthly passes and cosmetics. For the provider and address for service, see the . Deviating terms of the customer do not become part of the contract unless we expressly agree.
§ 2 Contract Language & Contract Text
The contract language is German. We do not store the contract text (order data + these GTC) in a separately accessible customer account; you receive the order data with the order confirmation by email. You can view and save these GTC on this page at any time.
§ 3 Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of the products does not constitute a binding offer but an invitation to order. By submitting the checkout, you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded as soon as we confirm receipt of payment or begin delivery.
§ 4 Prices, Taxes & Payment
All prices are final prices in Euro (EUR). As a small business within the meaning of § 19 UStG, we do not show value added tax. Payment is made via Stripe (including credit card, SEPA) or PayPal; payment processing is handled exclusively by these providers — we do not process full payment data ourselves. Displays in other currencies are non-binding guide values.
§ 5 Delivery of Digital Content
Delivery is automated on the Minecraft server as soon as payment is confirmed. This requires the correct entry of your Minecraft username at checkout. In the event of a differing spelling, we endeavour in good faith to make a manual assignment but cannot guarantee it. No physical delivery takes place.
§ 6 Monthly Passes (Subscriptions)
Monthly passes (Sigil, Aether, Eclipse) are continuing obligations with a term of one month.
- They renew automatically by a further month each time, as long as they are not cancelled.
- Cancellation is possible at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period — in your account or by email to the contact named in the imprint.
- After a cancellation, the benefits remain until the end of the period already paid for; there is no pro-rata refund of the current period.
- The monthly ✦ Crystals payout and the convenience benefits apply to the current, paid period in each case.
§ 7 Vouchers & Discount Codes
Vouchers and discount codes can only be redeemed under the conditions specified in each case (e.g. minimum order value, single use, validity period). Unless otherwise stated, they cannot be combined with other promotions, cannot be paid out in cash and — where created on a personalised basis — are tied to the eligible Minecraft account. There is no entitlement to vouchers.
§ 8 Right of Withdrawal
Consumers are generally entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal (see ). For digital content, the right of withdrawal expires pursuant to § 356 Abs. 5 BGB if you expressly consent to us beginning performance before the withdrawal period ends and you confirm that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. You give this consent at checkout by expressly ticking the waiver checkbox. For monthly passes, the right of withdrawal applies accordingly to the initial order.
§ 9 Rights in Respect of Defects & Updates
For digital products, the statutory consumer rights under §§ 327 ff. BGB apply, including the statutory rights in respect of defects. Insofar as necessary for conformity with the contract, we provide updates during ongoing server operation.
§ 10 Liability
Statutory liability law applies. For slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) and, in terms of amount, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Liability for intent, gross negligence, for personal injury as well as under the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) remains unaffected.
§ 11 Server Availability
The digital benefits acquired can only be used as long as the MythBlock Minecraft server is operated. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted or permanent availability of the server; maintenance windows, outages and season resets (where announced) are possible. Permanent ranks, cosmetics and Crystals are retained within the scope of ongoing operation.
§ 12 Minors
Minors may only place paid orders with the consent of their legal guardians (§§ 107–110 BGB). By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of your legal guardians. Cash prizes within the framework of the season are reserved for participants aged 18 and over.
§ 13 Account Binding, Fairness & Abuse
Acquired benefits are tied to your Minecraft account. In the event of proven cheating, bug abuse or impermissible account sharing, benefits may be withdrawn; digital content already delivered will not be refunded, insofar as legally permissible. Purchases do not provide any competitive advantage in the sense of pay-to-win and have no influence on the leaderboard scoring.
§ 14 Season, Prizes & Fairness
For the monthly season and the associated prizes, the apply in addition. Scoring is based on gameplay performance; it does not constitute gambling within the meaning of § 3 GlüStV. Cash prizes are only paid out if the season goal is reached; otherwise the Top 5 instead receive guaranteed in-game rewards (details in the season terms of participation).
§ 15 Data Protection
The processing of personal data is governed by our . The legal basis for contract processing is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
§ 16 Amendments to these GTC
We may amend these GTC for ongoing continuing obligations (monthly passes) if this is necessary for good cause (e.g. a changed legal situation, case law or market conditions). We will notify you of amendments in text form at least six weeks before they take effect. If you do not object within the stated period, the amendments are deemed accepted; we will separately point out this right of objection and the deadline. If you do object, we may terminate the subscription with effect from the end of the current period.
§ 17 Dispute Resolution
The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): . We are not obliged and, as a matter of principle, not willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
§ 18 Final Provisions
German law applies. Vis-à-vis consumers, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not conflict with mandatory provisions of the consumer's country of residence. Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
